Baguio City. My last visit in this summer capital was last 2007 and a lot has changed in this city. I was visiting the place together with my relatives, of which, it was their first time coming over.
We stayed at a place that's near SM Baguio and Burnham Park. About one jeepney ride away. It was like a rest house. The house was too big for us - we were only five (5) in total. The house they had us rented overnight was a three (3) bedroom house, two (2) bathrooms, complete amenities - cabled TV, refrigerator, living area, and cooking area.
On our arrival day, we went around the nearby places. Burnham Park, SM Baguio. We met some new friends. We went to see the market to look for some scarves, blankets, bonnets, etc. We passed by the vegetable and pasalubong section.
On our last day, we planned on going to the Strawberry Farm located in Benguet Province. It was good thing it didn't rain. :)
We were all set in buying fresh strawberries,
Trying out strawberry taho
. . .wines
and some small pasalubongs.
Later in the afternoon, we visited the new museum down at Asin Road, Bencab Museum. :)

The Strawberry Farm looks so pretty! :) I have been to Baguio before but I have never been there. And I think the place where you stayed at is a good deal. It's big and the location seems convenient.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, got your blog url from Girltalk. Take care! :)
Thanks Karla for the reply. :)
DeleteYou should try visiting the strawberry farm. you can get to pick unripe strawberries that would be okay to travel. they also have wines that are not available in the market area., so it would be good to visit. :)
We went to the strawberry farm before. Too bad it was not strawberry season.
ReplyDeleteBtw, just followed you through GFC. Hope you could follow mine as well.
