Authentic Polskie Cuisine :)

Travelling is not only about seeing places, or knowing the culture of one town or country. But it is also knowing a culture through food.

Gospoda Kwiaty Polskie is the place to discover authentic polish dish. It is situated within the vicinity of Old Town, Warsawa, Poland. The name per se is translated as "Polish Flower Inn." It is blooming with original culinary ideas that give a twist to standard Polish cuisine.

This quaint small cozy restaurant is owned by a couple. Inside dining capacity is only about ten (10) tables. The place is very quiet and home-y feel.

The setting is quite casual. It is the best place to bring your loved ones - on a date or just bringing the family out for dinner. You'll feel perfectly comfortable in the warm atmosphere.

Polish cuisine is rich in meat, especially pork, chicken and beef, winter vegetables and spices. It is also known in its use of various kinds of noodles. Generally speaking, Polish cuisine is hearty and uses a lot of cream and eggs.

Old favorites such as Polish dumplings (pierogi)

We also ordered soup.

and main dish...

The food is superb! I especially loved the soup, though I'm not a fan of their dumplings. The fillings tastes good but the dumpling wrapper itself, I'm not really a fan.

The owners can speak English, which is very useful if you are a foreigner. Authentic Polish cuisine + food + affordable price = THUMBS UP! :)

So, if you are around town and have just finished your day tour around Old Town, you can experience authentic Polish cuisine. This is one of the places you need to go.
