Eiffel Tower

Call me crazy, but I really have a thing for the Eiffel Tower. It is the epitome of the essence of Paris. ^^

Named after Gustave Eiffel, the contractor, engineer and architect of the famous tower. It is located in Paris, France on the Champ de Mars beside the Seine River that flows through Paris. It was used as a radio broadcasting tower and observation tower

Interesting Facts:

* The first level of the tower features a circular gallery that gives visitors an overview of the tower's history and design, as well as an introduction to some of Paris' most famous sights and monuments.

* The second level offers noteworthy panoramas of the city, as well as more insight into the tower's history and construction

* The top floor provides breathtaking views of the entire city, as well as top-rate dining. The elevator climb of 18 meters also allows you to fully appreciate the tower's elaborate metal latticework. It features wax figures of Gustave and American inventor Thomas Edison.

At night time, the tower bursts into a shimmering display of light every hour after nightfall, until 2 a.m.. This display is made possible by 335 projectors, each equipped with high-wattage sodium lamps. The intense sparkling effect is created by the beams shooting upward through the tower's structure.

Paris at night is breathtaking! It was divine, awe-inspiring. I'll miss this place, it was as if it was my first time to visit :)

  1. The photos are lovely! I haven't been to Paris yet, but I've always had a fascination for the Eiffel Tower. Hopefully, one day I'll be able to see it in person. :)
